Greeham is operated by Greeham Ventures Pvt Ltd, based in Chandigarh, India. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information when you use our property marketplace at greeham.com (the "Platform").

We act as the "data fiduciary" for your information under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We collect the following categories of personal information:

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, password (hashed), user type (owner / broker / builder / buyer).
• Property listing information: property details, photographs, location, price, contact preferences.
• Activity information: properties you save, view, or unlock; searches you run; plan requests you submit.
• Technical information: IP address, device type, browser, approximate location (city level), pages visited.
• Communications: emails or messages you send us, including content of your support requests.

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Platform — display listings, route leads, deliver emails
• Verify your identity and prevent fraudulent accounts
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, lead notifications, plan inquiries)
• Process subscription plan requests and follow up with sales calls
• Improve the Platform based on usage patterns
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests

Marketing emails: We may send occasional product updates and announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in those emails.

We share information only as described below — we do not sell your data:

• Between users: When you list a property, your contact name and phone are visible to verified buyers who unlock your listing. When you unlock a listing as a buyer, your name and contact may be shared with the seller.
• Service providers: We use third-party services for database hosting (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), and analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal compliance: We may share information when required by Indian law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety.

We retain your account information as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., tax records, fraud prevention) or for legitimate business interests.

Listings you posted may remain visible in cached form for up to 90 days after deletion.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage, row-level access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no system is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access.

If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant Indian authorities as required by law.

Under Indian law, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction: Update inaccurate or incomplete information
• Erasure: Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdrawal of consent: Opt out of marketing communications at any time
• Grievance redressal: Raise concerns with our grievance officer (details below)

To exercise any of these rights, email support@greeham.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

On your first visit we ask for your choice. Nothing in the analytics category runs until you accept it, and you can change your mind at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.

• Essential (always active): your sign-in session, security and anti-abuse protection, and one small cookie that remembers this very choice. These are required for the Platform to work, so they are not optional — but they are never used for advertising or profiling.
• Analytics (off until you accept): a random identifier stored in your browser so that reloading or revisiting a listing isn't counted twice. It lets an owner see how many people viewed their property. It contains no name, phone number, or email address, and we do not sell it or share it with advertisers.

What owners can see: viewing a listing is anonymous. An owner only ever sees a count of views — never who viewed. Your name and contact details reach an owner only if you explicitly choose to share them, by confirming you're interested or by unlocking that owner's contact details. We record the date and time of that choice as proof of your consent.

We keep a record of your cookie choice (the option selected and when) so we can demonstrate compliance under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If you refuse analytics, that record deliberately contains no identifier that could be traced back to your browser.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though doing so will sign you out and may affect how the Platform works.

Greeham is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

Greeham is operated from India and intended for users in India. If you access the Platform from outside India, your information may be transferred to and processed in India. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest version.
